POSTPONEMENT / PRE-PONEMENT OF JOURNEY
A confirmed ticket can be preponed / postponed in the same class on payment of fresh reservation fee provided the ticket is surrendered during the working hours of the Reservation office at least 48 hrs. before the scheduled departure of the train in which the ticket was originally booked subject to restriction on timings of this facility imposed by railway administration form time to time . In case of RAC / WL tickets , on payment of clerk age charges preponement / postponement shall be allowed .
Preponement and postponement on a ticket can be made only once subject to availability of accommodation.If the ticket the cancelled, subsequent the change cancellation charges will be applicable as follows :
* | Cancellation charges due as on date when the preponement / postponement was requested. |
* | Cancellation charges due as on the revised journey ticket. |
