RESERVATION ACCOMMODATION FOR MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT
Members of Parliament (MPs) are entitled to travel in First Class Air conditioned or Executive class, in any train with their spouse, in any form any place to any place over Indian Railways and one free Air conditioned two tier Railway pass for one person to accompany the MP.
Spouse of MP in entitled to travel in AC First Class / Executive class from their home town to New Delhi any number of times irrespective of the fact whether the Parliament is in session or not.
Reservation can be made in advance on telephone by MPs but it should be subsequently be confirmed by a written application furnishing the full details of train no., date of journey, IC No. etc. to the station where reservation has been asked for. If the request for reservation on telephone is not confirmed with in 24 hours before the scheduled departure of the train, the reservation made on telephone is liable to be cancelled without notice.
