STRUCTURING OF SYLLABUS : The syllabus of Initial, Promotional and Conversion batches are re-structured on Unit basis with item wise allocation of topics to suit the training needs. All the Modules for the Running courses are being reviewed and updated incorporating the latest circulars and instructions for better appreciation of the trainees. | |
STANDARDISATION OF TEACHING MATERIAL : SWR & Technical (Stage ‘B’ & A & C) notes have been standardised and have been got approved by the Head Quarter.The same has been brought out in the form of Booklets in both Hindi and English for distribution to the trainees. The books both Hindi and English have been got printed through private agencies and distribution is in force to the undergoing trainees of the ELTC/TATA free of cost. At present printing of book is under process. |
BREAK – UP OF ACTIVITIES INTO TASK ELEMENTS : The syllabus for the practical training at the Simulator has been formulated for the Initial and Promotional Courses and broken into different task elements to improve upon the effectiveness of the Trainees in carrying out trouble shooting activities. | |
EVALUATION WITH CODIFICATION AND SPOT CHECKING : In order to improve upon the Evaluation System, codifications of the answer sheets and spot evaluation by the instructors have been initiated. Instructors other than the batch Instructor check the answer sheets of trainees. | |
MODE OF TEACHING IN CLASS ROOMS : All the Class rooms have been equipped with Computers and LCD projectors. Teaching in the Class room has been made more impressive and interesting by incorporating Power point presentation through LCD Projector on various topics.
