Machinery and Plants
A brief function of various areas under Machinery and Plants department are as under:
a) Related to M&P Maintenance & Safety
- Upkeepment of Non-CNC / Conventional machines, Material Handling Equipment’s in coordination with electrical maintenance department.
- One time Repair & Comprehensive AMC work of high end software based machines through outside agencies ( Total LOA issued in the FY-2023-24 till date - 05 Nos.)
- Processing for procurement of new M&P’s under Plan Head 41, commissioning of COFMOW items (01 nos of M&Ps (PH -41) has been commissioned in Oct ' 2023), Total -62 Nos. M&P (PH-41 & 42 ) commissioned till date in FY-2023-24.
- Upkeepment of Safety equipment like Fire extinguishers etc.
b) Related to Condemnation of M&P:
c) Related to Certification:
- This includes certification work from the State Pollution Control Board like “Consent to operate”, and “Authorization for handling of Hazardous waste “ in coordination with other departments.
