Mr. Tarun Huria Assumes Charge as Divisional Railway Manager of Chakradharpur Division, South Eastern Railway Chakradharpur, December 28, 2024: Mr. Tarun Huria has officially taken over as the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of the Chakradharpur Division of South Eastern Railway on Saturday, December 28, 2024. He succeeds Mr. Rathod in this prestigious role.

 Mr. Huria, a distinguished officer of the 1993 batch of the Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME), brings with him nearly three decades of experience in the Indian Railways. Having joined the Indian Railways in March 1995, Mr. Huria has held several key positions across various Railways. Prior to his appointment as DRM, Chakradharpur, he served as the Chief Workshop Engineer and Chief Planning Engineer at East Coast Railway.

 Throughout his career, Mr. Huria has contributed significantly to the growth and development of Indian Railways. He has served in pivotal roles, including as Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer at Konkan Railway, Chief Rolling Stock Engineer (Coaching) at Western Railway, and Chief Workshop Manager at the Lower Parel Railway Workshop. Additionally, Mr. Huria has played an instrumental role in the completion of several large infrastructure projects during his tenure at the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi.

 With a wealth of experience and leadership expertise, Mr. Huria is set to lead the Chakradharpur Division towards further excellence in railway operations and services. His extensive background in mechanical engineering and infrastructure management will undoubtedly play a vital role in enhancing the efficiency and growth of the division.

The Chakradharpur Division, known for its rich heritage and operational significance, is an integral part of the South Eastern Railway network.
