Electric Loco Training Centre, S. E. Railway, Tatanagar, set up in the year 1964, has stepped forth progressively ahead with the confidence and belief that the institutional objectives would be further corroborated through infusion of vigour and vitality into the Human Resource function of Training and Development.

The Training Centre is spread in an area of 15000 Sq. Mtrs. (Approximately).There are 15 (fifteen) Classrooms which can accommodate 25 trainees in each class room.ELTC/TATA imparting trainingfor initial, promotional and refresher courses to staffs and supervisors of running as well as maintenance category.

The Institution is headed by a Principal/ELTC/TATA who is a Sr.Scale officer under the administrative control of Sr.DEE (TRS)/TATA and The sanctioned Strength of the faculty comprises of 17 Running and 07 Maintenance Instructors.
