GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR THE TRAINEES :-

1

Staff deputed for training may be directed with sparing letter, with signature and official stamp, specimen signature of the trainee, the latest passport size photograph of the trainee affixed on it.

The trainees to report ZRTI/SINI at the early hours on the 1st day of commencement of their courses.

Trainees arriving after the commencement of the course shall not be accepted.

It should be ensured that the staff deputed for initial training, have passed prescribed Initial/Promotional courses.

All the trainees will bring their essentials with them such as mask, hand gloves, sanitizer, water bottle/glass, bed sheets, pillow cover, blanket, soap, towels etc. Assembly of trainees for prayer and cultural activity is restricted on account Of COVID situation.

Trainees before entering to the training institute should be checked at health centre first and certified fit and they have to give written undertaking that they are not suffering from cough, cold, fever and have not any symptom of Covid-19 and he/she is fully fit.

Each trainee will have to download Arogya Setu App and follow all the Covid guidelines as per SOP.

While entering the institute for classes & examination, all trainees will have to go through thermal scanning. If anyone’s temperature is found higher, they will be immediately directed for necessary testing at nearest health unit and further action will be taken as per the advice of Doctor.

All the trainees will have to compulsorily use mask and wash their hands regularly and use sanitizer. Wash basins are available at the institute and hostel campus.

During the stay period at ZRTI/SINI, trainees will not be allowed to go outside the campus, essentials required if any will be asked to warden who will arrange from market, along with this mobile number of  medical/fancy store will be displayed in the notice board and canteen so that trainee may get them at their doorstep. Trainees shall not be allowed to commute.

Staff deputed for the training should be instructed to maintain discipline in the Class Rooms, Hostel & Mess & always follow the norms of social distancing.

They should wear prescribed Uniform.

They should bring one stamp size photograph for I/Card.

Carry the I/Card, provided by the training institute during training.

Bring their updated Rule Books and other Personal materials of daily need.

Initial/Promotional course trainees must come with proper authorization from the Headquarters/Divisions with their Photo and Signature duly attested by the competent authority.

Return journey duty pass in favour of trainees sent for initial/Promotion/Refresher Course Training should be issued by their concerned Stations/Units. The return journey duty pass shall remain valid for seven days from the date of end of course duration.

In their authorization letter the following particulars should be furnished :

(a) Date of Birth   

(b) Date of Appointment     

(c) Date of Passing Initial/Promotional Course 

(d) Date of Last Refresher Course attended   

(e) Basic Pay with Grade Pay.

The staff should be directed for training as per the divisional quota specified in the training course programme-2021.

Trainees sent in excess of quota may be returned, if accommodation is not available.

If less number of trainees is reported for any course, the course may be cancelled.

Trainees should enter into the Dinning Hall in formal dresses.

Trainees wearing Lungi, Short Pants, Bermudas etc. will not be allowed to enter into the Dinning Hall.

Chewing of PAN/GUTKHA/TOBACCO, Smoking of Cigarette or consumption of ALCOHOL inside ZRTI Complex is strictly prohibited. Offenders will be debarred from training and will be sent back to their Head Quarters immediately for disciplinary action.

Trainees should not bring any food items from outside during their stay at ZRTI/SINI. Cooking in rooms is strictly prohibited.

Any complaint/Suggestion, may be lodged in the register kept with warden.

Trainees will maintain social distancing in the dining hall. After completing their food, the used plate has to be kept at a nominated tub for washing. They may also bring their plates and glass as a precautionary measure for Covid-19.

On entering the institute premises, all trainees should switch off their mobiles or keep in mute position or silent mode.

Trainees should ensure switching off light and fans while leaving their hostel room and class rooms after completion of class hours. Failure to do so will attract penalty.

On completion of training, the trainees should return the hostel books and other materials which were supplied to them by ZRTI/SINI to the respective authority. In case of any damage or loss to the same, the cost shall be recovered from them before leaving the Institute


HOSTEL, INSTITUTE & MESS:- 

The Institute will open shortly after suspension of off line classes due to Covid 19 on 23.03.2020. As a precautionary measure institute will not be open to its full capacity.

While undergoing training at ZRTI/SINI following guidelines to be strictly followed by the trainees:

 Mess:

            Mess will be run by trainees on cost sharing basis, for this available infrastructure of ZRTI/SINI was used along with dining space. All assistance will be provided by Staff of ZRTI for smooth functioning of mess. Messing has been made compulsory for all trainees. Breakfast, Lunch, Eve. Tea & Snacks and dinner will be served in 2 phases.

Trainees should take their Breakfast and Meals within the allotted time.

Mess & Other Charges:- 

1.

Mess will be run by trainees on cost sharing basis. Total Mess & other expenses will be divided among trainees and to be paid in weekly basis.


2.

Further, RRB/Compassionate ground/Sports quota/Cultural Quota trainees etc. are also required to pay @ Rs.18/- per day as Establishment  charges.


3.

In addition to above Non-Railway trainees are required to deposit two separate DDs. One DD in favour FA & CAO, S.E.Railway, Kolkata, payable at Kolkata. @ Rs. 4225/-  per day as Training Cost + another o­ne DD in favour FA & CAO, S.E.Railway, Kolkata, payable at Kolkata. @ Rs18/- per day for Establishment Cost for entire period of their stay at ZRTI  these DDs should be submitted o­n the date of reporting or any time between the stay period.

All trainees are required to pay compulsorily Rs.20/- per month or part thereof for Trainee Activities & Development Fund (TADF) and Rs. 20/- per month or part thereof for Security Fund.  Any changes in amount will be intimated well in advance.

Timing of classes       

                        TRAINING                :   The working hours

                        Monday to Friday       : 09.00 Hrs. to 16.45 Hrs 

                        Saturday                      : 08.00 Hrs. to 13.15 Hrs. 

            Class Routine will be given to each batch. Classes should be attended in time. Strict discipline is to be maintained by all the trainees inside ZRTI premises. If any clarification is required they should contact the Course In-charge/ Chief Instructor /Vice Principal /Principal.

Leave: Normally no leave is allowed to Trainees.

Uniform/Dress Code:

The Dress/Uniform code is prescribed for all initial/refresher trainees as under.

Yoga /PT & SportsWill not be organized till further notice.

Gents : O­ne set of white Trousers & T-shirt with White PT Shoe.                              

Ladies : O­ne set of White Salwar –Kurta & Dopatta with White PT Shoe.

Trainees for Initial Courses :  Pro.SM/ Guard

Gents: White Shirt – White Trousers-Black Shoe.          

Ladies: White Kurta- White Salwar Dopatta & ladies Shoe

Trainees for Initial Courses :  Pro CC/TE/ECRC/TNC/Others  

Gents: White Shirt –Black Trousers-Black shoe.

Ladies: White Kurta- Black Salwar Dopatta & ladies Shoe.

Trainees for Initial Courses :  Pro. ALP

Gents: Sky Blue Shirt – Deep Blue Trousers- Black Shoe.          

Trainees for Refresher /Safety Courses   :  As per their prescribed Uniform.

NOTE :   No male trainee shall be allowed with sandals/sleepers in the class rooms.                             Decorum in class should be strictly followed.
