GENERAL MANAGER HOLDS HIGH LEVEL REVIEW MEETING
Kolkata, 28thFebruary, 2020:
Sri Sanjay Kumar Mohanty, General Manager, South Eastern Railway held a high level review meeting with all Principal Officers of different Departments at SER Headquarters, Garden Reach today (28.02.2020).
The General Manager reviewed the performance of this railway for the current financial year i.e 2019-20 as well as asked all Departmental Heads to formulate a road-map for the next financial year 2020-21.
General Manger during the meeting stated that in the current financial year, SER’s performance in freight loading has been quite satisfactory. This railway has already crossed the previous year loading of 154.87 million tonnes on 26.02.2020, much ahead of closing of this financial year (2019-20).
General Manager advised the Principal Officers to take all necessary measures to reach targetted Key Performance Indices set for the year 2019-20 in every sphere of railway working specially Construction of New Lines, provision of passenger amenity measures, punctuality, mobility etc.
Detailed discussions were held to overcome the problems faced by the different department of the railway so that the target fixed by Railway Board can be attained during the remaining one month of the current financial year.
