SER MEN’S TABLE TENNIS TEAM EMERGES CHAMPION IN ALL INDIA RAILWAY TABLE TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP – GENERAL MANAGER FELICITATES TEAM SER
Kolkata, 10thJuly, 2019:
South Eastern Railway Men’s Table Tennis Team emerged Champion in the 67th All India Railway Table Tennis Championship held at Guwahati from 3rd to 7thJuly, 2019. SER Men’s Table Tennis Team was represented by Anirban Nandi, Anirban Ghosh, Suman Basak, Sumit Kundu and Anubhab Kundu.
In the Men’s Individual Event, Anirban Nandi of SER won Gold Medal while Anirban Ghosh also of SER won Silver Medal.
In the Women’s Singles Shruti Amrute of Central Railway became Winner while Kaushani Nath of SER became Runners Up. Anirban Nandi of SER has been adjudged as the “Best Performer” in men’s section in the tournament.
SER Women’s and Men’s Table Tennis Team have been nurtured under the guidance and coaching ofAnindita Chakraborty.
Sri P S Mishra, General Manager, South Eastern Railway congratulated and felicitated the SER Table Tennis Team and encouraged them to be more sporting to achieve greater heights in the coming events.
