SER TO RUN 22 PAIRS OF SUMMER SPECIAL TRAINS
TOWARDS MUMBAI AND NEW JALPAIGURI
Kolkata, 11th April, 2019:
To clear the extra rush of passengers during Summer, South Eastern Railway has decided to run 11 pairs of Special Trains between Shalimar and Mumbai during the period from 20.04.19 to 01.07.19 and another 11 pairs of Special Trains between Santragachi and New Jalpaiguri during the period from 21.04.19 to 30.06.19.
02042/02041 Shalimar-Mumbai CSMT-Shalimar Summer Special (11 Pairs)
02042 Shalimar-Mumbai CSMT Weekly Special leaving Shalimar at 06.10 hrs every Monday will reach Mumbai CSMT at 16.05 hrs, the next day. In the opposite direction, 02041 Mumbai CSMT- Shalimar Special leaving Mumbai CSMT at 11.05 hrs every Saturday will arrive Shalimar at 21.30 hrs, the next day.
The Special Train consisting of one AC 2 Tier, two AC 3-Tier, seven Sleeper Class and three general second class coaches, will have stoppages at Santragachi, Kharagpur, Tatanagar, Chakradharpur, Rourkela, Jharsuguda, Bilaspur, Raipur, Durg, Gondia, Nagpur, Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Bhusawal, Nasik Road, Igatpuri, Kalyan and Dadar between Shalimar and Mumbai CSMT.
08047/08048 Santragachi-New Jalpaiguri-Santragachi AC Special (11 Pairs)
08047 Santragachi-New Jalpaiguri Weekly AC Special leaving Santragachi at 10.25 hrs every Sunday will reach New Jalpaiguri at 20.55 hrs, the same day. In the opposite direction, 08048 New Jalpaiguri-Santragachi Special leaving New Jalpaiguri at 23.15 hrs every Sunday will arrive Santragachi at 11.15 hrs, the next day.
The Special Train consisting of sixteen AC 3-Tier coaches, will have stoppages at Bardhaman, Rampurhat, Malda Town, Barsoi, Kishanganj and Alubari Road between Santragachi and New Jalpaiguri.
Booking will be available for both the trains from PRS & Internet with immediate effect.
