SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY ORGANISES SEVERAL EVENTS AS A PART OF
VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK
Kolkata, 31st October, 2023:
As a part of observance of Vigilance Awareness Week from 30th October to 5th November, 2023, various events were organised by South Eastern Railway today (31.10.2023). This year the theme of Vigilance Awareness Week is “Say no to Corruption; commit to the Nation”.
A “Walkathon” was organized by Vigilance Department at SER Headquarters in the morning. Shri Anil Kumar Mishra, General Manager, SER, Shri Abhay Kumar Gupta, Senior Deputy General Manager & Chief Vigilance Officer, S E Railway other Senior officers, members of SER Bharat Scouts and Guides and staff took part in the Walkathon.
Vendors’ Meet was also organised at SER Headquarters, Garden Reach today afternoon. A number of Railway Vendors and Senior officers of SER interacted during the Vendors’ Meet.
A Nukkad Natak (Street Play) was staged at Howrah Station New Complex by the members of Divisional Cultural Association, Kharagpur. The play was based on the theme of anti-corruption to create awareness among the people.
Vigilance Awareness Week is also being observed in four divisions of SER viz. Kharagpur, Adra, Ranchi and Chakradharpur.
