EXEMPLARY LIFE SAVING ACT BY LADY STAFF OF RPF, CHAKRADHARPUR DIVISION
Kolkata, 29th October, 2023:
On 28.102023, lady constable Smt. S.R.Kumari of RPF post Tatanagar was on train-passing duty at platform number 3. At about 1.30 hrs., 15929 Tambaram-Tinsukia Express arrived Tatanagar and at 1.36 hrs the train started. Suddenly, one passenger while trying to board the running train slipped and was about to fall in the gap between train and platform.
On seeing this immediately the lady staff, Smt S. R.Kumari pulled him out and saved his life. The passenger thanked the lady RPF staff for saving his life. Smt. Kumari will receive an award and appreciation letter from the Railway authority for her promptness and dedication to duty.
