GENERAL MANAGER FELICITATES SER STAFF
Kolkata, 17th October, 2023:
Shri Anil Kumar Mishra, General Manager, South Eastern Railway conducted a Safety Review Meeting at SER Headquarters, Garden Reach today (17.10.2023). Principal Head of the Departments and senior officers of SER were present during the Meeting. The General Manager also felicitated some SER employees for their exemplary performance.
General Manager felicitated three employees of SER for their alertness and devotion to duty. on 15.08.2023, Shri Jhantu Sen, Pointsman/Balichak of Kharagpur Division noticed that one wagon door of a goods train was in open condition and was grazing the railway track. He immediately informed the Station Master about the incident and an accident was averted. on 15.09.2023, Shri Krishna Kumar, Loco Pilot and Shri Vinay Prabhakar, Sr. Astt Loco Pilot of Bokaro Steel City of Adra Division have experienced heavy jerk while working in a goods train in Goutamdhara – Gangaghat section. After checking the track, it was found that the ‘fish plate’ was in open condition. By alertness of the crew, any untoward incident was averted.
Shri Mishra, General Manager, South Eastern Railway also felicitated three employees of Commercial Department for collecting huge amount from ticketless travellers and irregular ticket holders in the month of September-2023. Smt. Shyama Das, CCTC /Shalimar & Shri Rajesh Kumar Yadav, TTI/Howrah of Kharagpur Division and Shri Binay Kumar Prasad, TTI/Ranchi of Ranchi Division were felicitated today for their hard work.
