SER TO RUN 2 PAIRS OF INDEPENDENCE DAY SPECIAL
BETWEEN SANTRAGACHI AND DIGHA
LONG AWAITED NIGHT SERVICE TO DIGHA FOR THE FIRST TIME
Kolkata, 11thAugust, 2023:
It has been decided to run two pairs of Independence Day Special train between Santragachi-Digha-Santragachi to clear the extra rush of passengers. This is the long awaited Night Service towards Digha for the first time.
08009 Santragachi-Digha Independence Day Special train will leave Santragachi on 12.08.2023 and 13.08.2023 at 23:45 hrs and will reach Digha at 03:30 hrs, the next day.
In the return direction, 08010 Digha-Santragachi Independence Day Special will leave Digha at 08:00 hrs on 13.08.2023 and 14.08.2023 and will reach Santragachi at 12:10 hrs, the same day.
The special train will have four AC-3 Tier and twelve Sleeper Class Coaches and will stoppages at Uluberia, Bagnan, Mecheda, Tamluk, Deshpran and Kanthi.
