DOWN MAIN LINE MADE FIT AT 12.05 HRS TODAY
RESTORATION WORK IN PROGRESS AT THEDERAILMENT SITE
NEAR BALASORE
Kolkata, 4thJune, 2023:
Train no. 12841 Shalimar-Chennai Coromandal Express and Train no. 12864 Sir M Visvesvaraya-Howrah Superfast Express got derailed near Bahanaga Bazar Railway station at around 18.55 hrs on 02.06.2023. Train service of SER was affected due to this derailment.
The Down main line made fit at 12.05 hrs today.
Earlier all coaches which were capsized and derailed have been grounded. The site is being cleared from Bogie/wheels sets other components.OHE work is also going on.
Railway is taking every initiative on a warfooting to complete the restoration work.
