HOWRAH – KANTABANJI ISPAT EXPRESS UNCOUPLED NEAR SANTRAGACHI
-NO INJURY TO ANY PASSENGER
Kolkata, 8th January, 2023:
22861 Howrah-Kantabanji Ispat Express while approaching Santragachi Station, got uncoupled between 3rdand 4th coach from Engine at about 09.05 hrs today. The train left Howrah today morning at about 08.48 hrs.
Senior Railway Officers and Engineers rushed to the spot and the train was taken to Santragachi and both the affected coaches were detached. Later, two new coaches were attached at Santragachi and the train finally left Santragachi at 11.17 hrs.
There was no injury to any passenger. A high level enquiry has been ordered to find the causes behind the incident.
