GENERAL MANAGER INAUGURATES WATER RECYCLING PLANT
AT BANKURA OF ADRA DIVISION
6th January, 2023:
Ms. Archana Joshi, General Manager, South Eastern Railway visited Bankura ofAdra Division and conducted inspections in presence of Sri Manish Kumar, Divisional Railway Manager and other Senior Officers of Adra on 06.01.2023.
As a part of SER’s eco-friendly initiatives, General Manager inaugurated a Water Recycling Plant with a capacity of 5 lakh litre per day at Bankura. The raw water source of the plant will be from the Railway Colony and Settlement Area. The recycled water will be utilized for washing of platforms, watering of plantation etc. This will help in saving the ground water resource.
The General Manager has also inspected the RPF Barrack at Bankura.
