INTRODUCTION OF MEMU PASSENGER SPECIAL
BETWEEN PURI-JALESWAR-PURI
Kolkata, 28th December, 2022:
It has been decided to introduce a MEMU Passenger Special (Train No.08416/08415) between Puri - Jaleswar-Puri w.e.f 31-12-2022 from Puri and w.e.f. 01-01-2023 from Jaleswar.
Inaugural run of the MEMU Passenger Special will be flagged off by Sri Ashwini Vaishnaw, Hon’ble Minister for Railways, Communications, Electronics & Information Technology, Govt. of India on 29.12.2022.
On the Inaugural Day, it will run as Special Train (Train No.08417) between Bhubaneswar and Jaleswar.
08416 Puri-Jaleswar MEMU Special will leave Puri everyday at 13.15 hrs and will arrive Jaleswar at 20.00 hrs, the same day. In the return direction, 08415 Jaleswar-Puri MEMU Special will leave Jaleswar everyday at 04.50 hours and will reach Puri at 12.30 hrs, the same day.
