51ST ALL INDIA RAILWAY GYMNASTICS CHAMPIONSHIP INAUGURATED
AT SER HEADQUARTERS, GARDEN REACH
Kolkata, 9thNovember, 2022:
The 51st All India Railway Gymnastics Championship organised by South Eastern Railway Sports Association (SERSA) has been inaugurated at BNR Indoor Sports Complex, Garden Reach on 09.11.2022. Sri Debashis Dam Chowdhury, former International Gymnast of South Eastern Railway was the Chief Guest and inaugurated the Championship. Sri Atulya Sinha, Additional General Manager, South Eastern Railway, Sri Ishaq Khan, Principal Chief Electrical Engineer & President, SERSA and other senior Railway Officers were present at the inaugural ceremony.
Altogether, 8 Zonal Railways and Production Units are taking part in the three day Championship which will conclude on 11th November, 2022. The participating teams are South Eastern Railway, Eastern Railway, Metro Railway, South Central Railway, Nothern Railway, Western Railway, North Central Railway and Chittaranjan Locomotive Works.
A number of Gymnasts of National and International repute viz. Pranati Nayek, Pranati Das, Asish Kumar, Satyajit Mondal, Siddharth Verma, Aditya Rana, Ankur Sharma, Papiya Das, Swastika Ganguly etc. will be seen in action during the three day championship.
