SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY CELEBRATES 67th RAILWAY WEEK

Kolkata, 12th October, 2022:

 

South Eastern Railway celebrated the 67thRailway Week, 2022 at Kolkatatoday(12.10.2022).

 

Ms. Archana Joshi, General Manager, South Eastern Railway graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Shri Atulya Sinha, Addl. General Manager, Shri Vijay Kumar Panjiar, Senior Deputy General Manager along with all Principal Head of the Departments attended the function.Divisional Railway Managers of Kharagpur, Adra, Chakradharpur& Ranchi were also present o­n the occasion.

As many as 241selected railway officers& staff including Group Awardees were felicitatedin recognition of their outstanding services and devotion to duty during the year 2021-22.The Overall Efficiency Shield was awarded to Adra Division for the best all round performance. Efficiency Shields in 28 other categories were awarded to different divisions, workshops and stations. Tatanagar station has been adjudged as the Best Kept Station.

Ms. Archana Joshi, General Manager while addressing the gathering mentioned about S E Railway’s achievements in freight and passenger sectors. She complimented the railway employees for their sincere efforts and commendable performance in spite of different challenges.General Managerlaid maximum emphasison ensuring safety in train operations. She advised the railway employees to make all out efforts to attain the satisfaction of passengers and freight customers. She also appreciated the cooperation extended by the different Associations and Trade Unions.
