GENERAL MANAGER FELICITATES LADY RPF CONSTABLE
Kolkata, 27thApril 2022:
Ms. Archana Joshi, General Manager, South Eastern Railway felicitated Ms. Bina Harijan, Constable, Railway Protection Force, Jharsuguda at this Railway’s Headquarters, Garden Reach today (27.04.2022) for saving the life of a passenger.
On 23rdApril, 2022, at about 05.52 hrs when train No. 12130 Howrah-Pune Azad Hind Express was leaving Jharsuguda Station, one passenger while trying to board the running train lost his balance and was being dragged on the platform. Noticing this, on duty RPF Constable Ms. Bina Harijan immediately rushed to the spot and succeeded in pushing the passenger inside the coach and saved his life.
Ms. Harijan has been felicitated by Ms. Archana Joshi, General Manager, South Eastern Railway in appreciation of her remarkable performance and alertness. Sri D B Kasar, IG-cum-Principal Chief Security Commissioner, South Eastern Railway was also present at the felicitation ceremony.
