SER’S NEW PRINCIPAL CHIEF COMMERCIAL MANAGER
Kolkata, 19th January, 2022:
Md. Owais has taken over the charge of new Principal Chief Commercial Manager of South Eastern Railway on 18.01.2022. Prior to this, he was posted as Chief Commercial Manager (Freight Marketing & Claims), in this Railway itself.
Md. Owais belongs to the 1989 batch of Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS). He worked in various important posts over Indian Railways viz. Principal, Zonal Training Centre, Bhuli, Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager/Dhanbad, Sr. GM/CONCOR, New Delhi, CEO/Haj Committee of India, Mumbai and Chief Commercial Manager (Catering and Freight Marketing), East Central Railway. He is actively involved in various activities of freight train movement and passenger services.
Md. Owais has keen interest in upliftment of people through socio-cultural and educational activities .
