RAILWAY PROTECTION FORCE (RPF) RECEIVES “SKOCH ORDER OF MERIT”

 

Kolkata, 14th November, 2021:

 

Railway Protection Force (RPF) under Ministry of Railways has received two “Order of Merit” from SKOCH Group. SKOCH Award salutes people, projects and institutions that go the extra mile to make India a better nation.

 

These two Orders of Merit have been awarded in recognition of the exemplary achievements of “Meri Saheli” and “Nanhe Farishtey” teams of RPF in West Bengal and Jharkhand respectively.Both the teams have qualified for the Semi Final of SKOCH Award 2021.

 

The “Meri Saheli”team of RPF provides all sorts of assistance to women passengers during the train journey along with ensuring their security and safety. The “Nanhe Farishtey” team has been taking all necessary steps to prevent child trafficking and rescuing children from railway premises.

 

Ms. Archana Joshi, General Manager, South Eastern Railway has congratulated Sri D B Kasar, IG-cum-Principal Chief Security Commissioner of South Eastern Railway and his team of RPF personnel o­n receipt of this prestigious award.
