GENERAL MANAGER FELICITATES RPF CONSTABLE OF SER
Kolkata, 13th September, 2021:
In a function held at South Eastern Railway headquarters, Garden Reach today (13.9.2021), Ms. Archana Joshi, General Manager, South Eastern Railway felicitated Sri Mrinal Kanti Ghosh, Constable of Railway Protection Force/SER for his exemplary effort to save a lady passenger from fatal accident.
On 12.08.21, when 08635 Ranchi–Sasaram Special was about to depart Ranchi station, a lady tried to board the running train. Incidentally, she could not grip the gate-handle and tripped. She was dragged on the platform by the running train. on noticing this, on duty Constable, Sri Mrinal Kanti Ghosh, of RPF Post/Ranchi rushed to the spot and rescued the lady passenger. Later, the guard stopped the train and the lady could board the train safely.
Sri D.B. Kasar IG–cum-Principal Chief Security Commissioner, S. E. Railway has also congratulated Sri Ghosh for his alertness and courageous act.
