GENERAL MANAGER FELICITATES THREE SER OLYMPIANS
Kolkata, 8th September, 2021:
In a function held at South Eastern Railway headquarters, Garden Reach today (8.9.2021), Ms. Archana Joshi, General Manager, South Eastern Railway felicitated the three Olympians of South Eastern Railway who participated in Tokyo Olympics. Ms. Nikki Pradhan and Ms. Salima Tete, the members of National Women’s Hockey Team and Ms. Suthirtha Mukherjee, the Table Tennis Player were applauded for their brilliant performance in Tokyo Olympics, 2020.
The Indian Women’s Hockey Team has secured the fourth position in the Tokyo Olympics and the dedication and skill of Ms. Pradhan and Ms. Tete along with other members of the women’s hockey squad has won the heart of the nation. The laudable performance of Ms. Sutirtha Mukherjee was also appreciated by the General Manager.
Shri Prashant Mishra, Principal Financial Advisor, SER and President, South Eastern Railway Sports Association (SERSA), Ms. Zarina Firdausi, Principal Chief Personnel Officer, SER and other senior officers were present during the felicitation ceremony.
Ms. Nikki Pradhan and Ms. Salima Tete, posted at Ranchi Division of SER have recently been promoted in their official capacities. Ms. Suthirtha Mukherjee who is working at SER Headquarters has also been promoted in recognition of her performance.
All the three Olympians mentioned about the support and encouragement they have received from the SER Authorities. They also praised the facilities and infrastructure provided by SER for the sports persons.
