SER DESPATCHES 7th OXYGEN EXPRESS TO BANGLADESH
WITH 186 TONNES OF LIQUID MEDICAL OXYGEN

South Eastern Railway despatched the 7th Oxygen Express to Benapole in Bangladesh from Rourkela in Chakradharpur Division on 10.08.2021. The train left Rourkela carrying 186 tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) in 10 Containers.
The first Oxygen Express Train was sent to Benapole in Bangladesh, originating from Tatanagar on 24.07.2021 for the treatment of Covid affected patients there. Till now, seven Oxygen Express trains have been sent to Bangladesh from Tatanagar and Rourkela of Chakradharpur Division.
In order to meet the growing demand of Oxygen for treatment of Covid affected patients, South Eastern Railway has been running Oxygen Express Trains since 23.04.2021 to ensure quick transportation and smooth supply of Oxygen.
