PRESS RELEASE
CANCELLATION, SHORT ORIGINATION AND SHORT TERMINATION OF SER TRAINS DUE TO HEAVY RAIN
Kolkata, 30th July, 2021
Due to incessant rain yesterday at Kolkata, Howrah and adjoining districts and water logging in different yards including Howrah yard, the following trains of South Eastern Railway will be cancelled, short originated and short terminated :-
Cancellation of Trains
i)02019 Howrah-Ranchi Special scheduled to leave Howrah on 31.07.2021 has been cancelled
ii)02020 Ranchi-Howrah Special scheduled to leave Ranchi on 31.07.2021 has been cancelled
Short Origination of Trains
i)02895 Howrah-Ranchi Special scheduled to leave Howrah at 12.50hrs on 31.07.2021 will short originate from Kharagpur at 14.45 hrs instead of Howrah
ii)02073 Howrah-Bhubaneswar Special scheduled to leave Howrah at 13.25hrs on 31.07.2021 will short originate from Kharagpur at 15.10hrs instead of Howrah
iii)02227 Howrah-Purulia Special scheduled to leave Howrah at 16.50 hrs on 31.07.2021 will short originate from Kharagpur at 18.32 hrs instead of Howrah
Short Termination of Trains
i)09205 Probandar-Howrah Special which left Porbandar on 29.07.2021 will be short terminated at Santragachi
ii)02279 Pune-HowrahSpecial which left Pune on 29.07.2021 will be short terminated at Santragachi
iii)02838 Puri-Howrah Special leaving Puri on 30.07.2021 will be short terminated at Santragachi
iv)02803 Ranchi-Howrah Special leavingRanchi on 30.07.2021 will be short terminated at Santragachi
v)02809 Mumbai(CSMT)-Howrah Special which left Mumbai(CSMT) on 29.07.2021 will be short terminated at Santragachi
vi)01051 LTT-Howrah Special which left LTT on 29.07.21 will be short terminated at Santragachi
vii)08306 Sambalpur-Howrah Special leaving Sambalpur on 30.07.21 will be short terminated at Santragachi
viii)02228 Purulia-Howrah Special scheduled to leave Purulia on 31.07.21 will be short terminated at Kharagpur
