EXEMPLARY MEDICAL TREATMENT PROVIDED BY
ENT DEPARTMENT OF CENTRAL HOSPITAL ,
S. E. RAILWAY, GARDEN REACH

Covid-19 pandemic, a catastrophe, has shaken the whole world but medical services stood firmly and so did the brave Corona warriors of Central Hospital, South Eastern Railway, Kolkata. Under the brilliant leadership of Dr. A.K. Malhotra, Medical Director, S.E.Railway, Garden Reach, the medical staff of Central Hospital rendered excellent services to the public, be it emergency treatments, awareness or vaccination.
In one such instance, the ENT department of Central Hospital, SER performed a convoluted Mucormycosis surgery, spearheaded by Otolaryngologist Dr. Kailash Prasad Verma on Sri Chandan Majumdar, a railway employee from Kharagpur on 2nd July 2021, which ended successfully. The patient recovered completely and was discharged on 19th July 2021, as a result of the exceptional health services provided by the Medical team of Central Hospital, South Eastern Railway, Garden Reach.
