SER’s NEW CHIEF PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER
Kolkata, 30thJune, 2021:
Sri Niraj Kumar has assumed the charge of Chief Public Relations Officer of South Eastern Railway today. Prior to this, Sri Kumar was Senior Divisional Operations Manager-cum-Chief Public Relations Officer, Ranchi, S E Railway.
Sri Sanjoy Ghosh, who was working as CPRO/SER for more than six and half years has been transferred to his parent department.
Sri Niraj Kumar is an Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) Officer of 2007 batch and joined Railways after completing his B.Tech. from National Institute of Technology, Warangal. He has vast experience in train operations and worked in various important capacities duringthe tenure of his service in Indian Railways.
Prior to working in the above capacities, Sri Kumar also worked as Area Manager/Haldia, Divisional Operations Manager/Chakradharpur, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager/Ranchi etc.
Sri Kumar underwent various training programmes in National as well as International levels. He has keen interest in sports and socio cultural activities.
