SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY DELIVERS MORE THAN 13000 MT OF LIQUID MEDICAL OXYGEN (LMO) OUT OF WHICH 8297 MT FROM THE LOADING POINTS OF JHARKHAND

 

Kolkata, 3rdJune, 2021

 

Tatanagar and Bokaro in the State of Jharkhand are the two major loading points under the jurisdiction of South Eastern Railway recorded a dispatched of 8297 MT of Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) across the country uptill now.

 

Initiating its movement to run Oxygen Express Trains in view of 2nd wave of Covid-19 since 23rd April, 2021 the two major loading points of Jharkhand Tata and Bokaro has so far delivered 6207MT and 2090MT of LiquidMedical Oxygen (LMO) respectively to different locations of the country as per requirement of the State Governments. In addition to this, Rourkela loading point of Odisha State which is also coming under the jurisdiction of SER, is also playing an important role to bring relief to the patient by dispatching 4765 MT of Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) till noon of 3.6.2021.

 

The States and Union Territories which has been served with Liquid medical Oxygen (LMO) by South Eastern Railway so far, includes Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Tamilnadu, Telangana, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Assam and Delhi.

 

It is worthy to mention that despite different barriers South Eastern Railway continues to take part in Oxygen Movement in the same manner with the help of its committed employees who are trained to work round the clock even in adversity to ensure fastest transportation of Oxygen Express Trains.
