SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY ALREADY DESPATCHED MORE THAN 12,000MT LIQUID MEDICAL OXYGEN (LMO)

South Eastern Railway already dispatched more than 12,000 MT Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) to provide relief to the covid affected patients in the different States and Union Territories by overcoming all hurdles and finding new solution. So far, South Eastern Railway has delivered 172 Oxygen Express Trains( LMO)in 796 Tankers/Containers to the various States and Union Territories across the country where 47 trains from Bokaro, 64 Trains from Rourkela and 61 trains from Tatanagar by loading 2089 MT, 4376 MT and 5807 MT respectively upto afternoon of 31.05.2021.
The Liquid Medical Oxygen has been sent to farthest corner of the 12 different States and Union territories viz Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Assam, Haryana, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Kerala, Delhi and Punjab.

South Eastern Railway has driven all out efforts to ensure that Oxygen relief reaches in the fastest possible time and creating a new standard and unprecedented benchmark in running of Oxygen Express Trains. Operational teams of the zones are working round the clock in most challenging circumstances including cyclonic weather to ensure that Oxygen reaches in fastest possible time schedule by running on high priority Green Corridor.
