RUNNING OF FULLY RESERVED SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN
SHALIMAR-NAGERCOIL AND SHALIMAR-THIRUVANANTHAPURAM
Kolkata, 18th November, 2020:
With a view to clear the extra rush of passengers, it has been decided to run fully reserved weekly Special Trains between Shalimar-Nagercoil-Shalimar and Bi-weekly Special Trains between Shalimar-Thiruvananthapuram-Shalimar.
02660/02659 Shalimar-Nagercoil-Shalimar Weekly Special
02660 Shalimar-Nagercoil Weekly Special will leave Shalimar every Wednesday w.e.f 25.11.2020 at 23.50 hrs and will reach Nagercoil at 21.35 hrs on the third day.In the opposite direction, 02659 Nagercoil-Shalimar Weekly Special will leave Nagercoil every Sunday w.e.f 22.11.2020 at 14.45 hrs and will arrive Shalimar at 11.55 hrs on the third day.
The Special train will have one AC 2 Tier, five AC 3 Tier, ten sleeper class and four general second class coaches. This pair of train will stop at Santragachi, Kharagpur and Balasore in SER jurisdiction.
02642/02641 Shalimar-Thiruvananthapuram-Shalimar Bi-Weekly Special
02642 Shalimar-Thiruvananthapuram Bi-Weekly Special will leave Shalimar from 01.12.2020 at 23.50 hrs every Sunday and Tuesday and will reach Thiruvananthapuram at 20.55 hrs on Tuesday and Thursday respectively.
In the opposite direction, 02641 Thiruvananthapuram-Shalimar Bi-Weekly Special will leave Thiruvananthapuram from 28.11.2020 at 16.55 hrs every Thursday and Saturday and will reach Shalimar at 11.55 hrs on Saturdays and Monday respectively.
The Special train will have one AC 2 Tier, six AC 3 Tier, nine sleeper class and two general second class coaches. This pair of train will stop at Santragachi, Kharagpur and Balasore in SER jurisdiction. In the down direction, this train will also stop at Mecheda. Both the trains will run until further advice.
Passengers are requested to strictly follow the Covid-19 Health Protocols during journey.
