SER APPEALS TO PASSENGERS TO MAINTAIN HEALTH PROTOCOL on RESUMPTION OF SUBURBAN EMU LOCALS
Kolkata,10th November, 2020:
South Eastern Railway will restore 81 EMU locals from tomorrow (11.11.2020) towards its various suburban sections. Out of these 81 EMU locals, 40 EMU locals will run in up directions and 41 EMU locals will run in down direction having timing and stoppages of existing Public Suburban Time Table of 2019-20. South Eastern Railway has made elaborate arrangements to monitor daily commuters by deploying Railway and Civil forces and other staff to make journey comfortable observing Covid-19 health protocol. Arrangements have also been made to sanitize coaches on daily basis in addition to regular cleaning and sanitization of platforms for ensuring safe journey. To maintain social distancing, changes in seating arrangements have been indicated by X(cross) marking on the seats. Spot Marking for queuing of the passengers at all relevant places including platforms and booking windows has been ensured.
Passengers are requested to kindly co-operate with railways adhering to physical distancing, use of hand sanitizers and mandatory wearing of face masks and also to abide by all Government directives in this pandemic situation through various means of media.
