BOOKING OF TICKETS FOR JOURNEY PERIOD
UP TO 14.4.2020 SUSPENDED
Kolkata, March 25, 2020:
In view of Ministry of Home Affairs guidelines on the measures to be taken for containment of COVID-19, following decisions have been taken:
1)Booking of all types of tickets for journey period up to 24:00 hrs of 14.4.2020 will be suspended. This will include reserved/unreserved tickets booked through counters and on line.
2) All counters for booking of rail journey tickets for both reserved/ unreserved travel at stations and outside stations shall remain closed up to 24:00 hrs of 14.4.2020.
3) E-ticketing facility for booking of reserved tickets for journey period after 24:00 hrs of 14.4.2020 will be available online.
