SER EMERGES CHAMPIONS IN 34TH ALL INDIA

RAILWAY BODY BUILDING CHAMPIONSHIP

Kolkata, 10th February, 2020:

South Eastern Railway emerged Champions in the 34th All India Railway Body Building Championship held at Chakradharpur from 6th to 8th February, 2020. The tournament was organised by South Eastern Railway Sports Association (SERSA). The 2nd and 3rd positions were bagged by Central Railway and South Western Railway respectively.

S E Railway has consecutively bagged 1st Position in the last 7 years in the All India Railway Body Building Championship. The Gold Medal Winners of S E Railway’s team was N Sarbo Singh, Ram Niwas, Rahul Bisht and Javed Ali Khan in different categories. N Sarbo Singh of S E Railway was declared as the Champion of Champions.

As many as 11 teams of different Zonal Railways and Production Units including Railway Board participated in the tournament.

Sri Sanjay Kumar Mohanty, General Manager, S E Railway felicitated the members of S E Railway Body Building Team in a function held at S E Railway Headquarters, Garden Reach today (10/02/2020).
