SER OBSERVES 128th BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF
BHARAT RATNA DR. B.R.AMBEDKAR
Kolkata, April 15, 2019
The 128th Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. B. R. Ambedkar was observed at S.E.Railway Headquarters, Garden Reach, this morning (15.4.2019).
Principal Head of Departments, senior officers and staff paid respectful homage to this illustrious son of India and the Father of the Indian Constitution. Floral tributes were paid by the Officers and staff and representatives of SC/ST and various Associations
In the simple and solemn ceremony, Smt Zarina Firdausi, Principal Chief Personnel Officer spoke about the sacrifice of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar for the upliftment of the weaker and downtrodden section of the society. Different speakers mentioned about the role of Dr. Ambedkar in framing the Constitution of India.
