RUNNING OF RANCHI-GORAKHPUR-RANCHI
DIWALI/CHHATH PUJA SPECIAL TRAINS
Kolkata, 25th August, 2025
To clear extra rush of the passengers during Diwali/Chhath, it has been decided to run 08629/08630 Ranchi-Gorakhpur-Ranchi Special trains as per the following schedule:
08629 Ranchi-Gorakhpur Specialwill leave Ranchi on every Saturday from 18.10.2025 to 01.11.2025 at 16:50 hrs and will reach Gorakhpur at 11:30 hrs, the next day. In the return direction, 08630 Gorakhpur-Ranchi will leave Gorakhpur on every Sunday from 19.10.2025 to 02.11.2025 at 15:30 hrs and will reach Ranchi at 09:30 hrs, the next day.
The Special train will have stoppages at Muri and Bokaro Steel City in South Eastern Railway jurisdiction.
