RUNNING OF INDEPENDENCE DAY SPECIAL TRAINS
Kolkata, 12th August, 2025
It has been decided to run Independence Day Special trains as per following schedule:
08037/08038 Shalimar-Malatipatpur-Shalimar Special:
08037 Shalimar-Malatipatpur Specialwill leave Shalimar on 14.08.2025 at 21:20 hrs and will reach Malatipatpur at 07:30 hrs, the next day. In the return direction, 08038 Malatipatpur- Shalimar Specialwill leave Malatipatpur on 15.08.2025 at 19:40 hrs and will reach Shalimar at 04:15 hrs, the next day.
The Special train will have stoppages at Santragachi, Kharagpur and Baleshwar in South Eastern Railway jurisdiction.
08097/08098 Shalimar-Digha-Shalimar Special:
08097 Shalimar-Digha Specialwill leave Shalimar on 15.08.2025 at 08:00 hrs and will reach Digha at 11:55 hrs, the same day. In the return direction, 08098 Digha - Shalimar Specialwill leave Digha on 15.08.2025 at 13:20 hrs and will reach Shalimar at 17:30 hrs, the same day.
The Special train will have stoppages at Santragachi, Uluberia, Bagnan, Mecheda Tamluk and Kanthi in South Eastern Railway jurisdiction.
