REGULATION OF TRAINS DUE TO DERAILMENT OF SECUNDERABAD – SHALIMAR WEEKLY EXPRESS AT NALPUR
Kolkata, 9th November, 2024
One Parcel van and two coaches of 22850 Secunderabad - Shalimar Weekly Express got derailed while passing Nalpur station of Kharagpur Division at 05.31 hrs. today ( 09.11.2024). As reported, there is no major injury and casualty. All passengers of the derailed train have been evacuated and sent by bus to their destinations. one Local train was also arranged for transportation of passengers. After the derailment, train service was disrupted for a few hours and restoration process was done in war footing. The middle line was declared fit for train operation at 14.30 hrs and down line was made operational at 17.30 hrs
As a result of the derailment, the following trains are regulated as under:
DIVERSION OF TRAINS:
1. 12151 LTT Mumbai-Shalimar Express journey commenced on07.11.2024 will run on diverted route via Chandil-Joychandi Pahar-Asansol- Bhatta Nagar
2. 12809 CSMT Mumbai – Howrah Express journey commenced on07.11.2024 will run on diverted route via Chandil-Joychandi Pahar-Asansol- Bhatta Nagar
3.18029 LTT Mumbai-Shalimar Express journey commenced on07.11.2024 will run on diverted route via Chandil-Joychandi Pahar-Asansol- Bhatta Nagar
4.12509 SMVT Bengaluru-Guwahati Express journey commenced on07.11.2024 will run on diverted route via Kharagpur-Midnapore-Adra-Asansol
5.22503 Kanniyakumari-Dibrugarh Express journey commenced on07.11.2024 will run on diverted route via Hijli-Nimpura-Midnapore-Adra-Asansol

3)12278 Puri-Howrah Shatabdi Express journey commencing on 09.11.2024 will run upto Howrah instead of Short Termination at Bhadrak.
