TEN SER EMPLOYEES TO BE AWARDED WITH
ATI VISHISHT RAIL SEVA PURASKAR, 2023
Kolkata, 13th December, 2023:
68th Railway Week Central Function will be held at New Delhi on 15.12.2023. Railway employees, who have done exemplary work during 2022-23 have been selected for Ati Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskar, 2023. The award ceremony will be held at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on 15.12.2023. Ten employees of South Eastern Railway have been selected for this prestigious award. Shri Anil Kumar Mishra, General Manager, South Eastern Railway congratulated the staff for their outstanding achievement and selection for the award.
Shri Satyajit Mondal, a dedicated Sportsperson of South Eastern Railway has set an instance of self-worth by winning medals in National and International Gymnastics Tournaments.
Shri Ronald W A Braggs, Chief Commercial Inspector, In-charge of Anti-fraud and Ticket Checking Section of SER, strategized, planned, coordinated and executed several initiatives which led to impactful accomplishments through increased ticket checking earnings, prevention of fraudulent activities within railway network and prevention in the leakage of railway revenue.
Shri Samaresh Tapna, Chief Commercial Inspector is working as the In-Charge of the PPM (Passenger Profile Management) Cell of South Eastern Railway. He has helped in increasing the PRS revenue share of SER to a highest ever standard through his sincerity, dedication, innovativeness and meticulous analytical skills.
Ms. Shalini, Technician Grade-II/Mechanical/C & W is working at Nimpura of Kharagpur Division for attention of wagons under sick repairs. She is very dedicated and dependable Technician and assumed higher responsibilities to carry out various activities for timely outturn of wagons.
Shri Manuj Kumar, Head Constable/RPF is working at Ranchi. An on duty TTI tripped while boarding a train at Ranchi station. Shri Kumar rushed immediately to the spot and saved the precious life of the TTI.
Shri Anoop Lal Rajak, Asstt. Sub Inspector/RPF is working at RPF Post/Tatanagar of Chakradharpur Division. A bonafide passenger slipped and fell down while boarding a running train at Tatanagar station. Shri Rajak rushed immediately to the spot and saved the precious life of the passenger.
Shri Narhari Das, Loco Pilot, Rourkela of Chakradharpur Division averted a probable accident by applying emergency brake of an Express train. His prompt action saved the passengers.
Shri Arvind Pradeep S, Divisional Operations Manager is working in Adra Division. During his tenure, best RR dispatch was achieved from Bokaro steel plant in a financial year.
Md Pyar Ali, Sr. Section Engineer/TM is working in Kharagpur Division. Important NI work of RVNL had been timely completed owing to his meticulous planning.
Shri Surendra Kumar Singh, Assistant Signal & Telecommunication Engineer (Project) is working in Ranchi Division. He has shown exemplary leadership, meticulous planning and flawless execution in commissioning Electronic Interlocking at naxallite infected Latemda and Jhimri stations of Ranchi division.
