In the context of preventing spread of COVID-19,  the following initiatives have been taken by the Division:

i)

Divisional Railway Hospital/Adra has been nominated as COVID CARE CENTRE (CCC). Total 70 No. of Non-ICU beds for COVID patients have been made available.Necessary equipment, medicines and materials are being procured for management of the Pandemic.

ii)

COVID-19 Vaccination camp has been conducted at Divisional Railway Hospital/Adra in a regular measure.

COVID-19 samples collected & tested regularly

iv)

Distribution of Medicine Kit for COVID-19 Patients:

During the COVID-19 pandemic situation, to provide quick medical assistance to the COVID-19 infected employees and their family members, a good initiative has been taken by the Personnel Branch of Adra Division to distribute Medicine kits since 17.05.21. 

v)

COVID-19  RAIL PARIWAR DEKH-REKH  MUHIM (COVID Help Desk & Help Line):

Under the various measures for containment of COVID-19, “Rail Parivar Dekh Rekh Muhim” in Adra Division, a core team comprising of one Personnel officer and three Ch.S&WI  is formed, to keep track of the connections of COVID-19 cases to avoid community spread in case it receives any information regarding new cases. Day-to-day report is being collected from all the unit in-charges and disseminated to the concerned officials, besides taking all possible steps in assisting/ guiding the employees.

PARAMEDICAL ENGAGEMENT:

In view of extraordinary circumstances arising on account of Second wave of COVID-19 Pandemic, Adra Division has conducted Telephonic/ Online interview for the candidates to engage as full time Para-medical Contractual Staff at Divisional Railway Hospital/ Health Units under Adra Division .

(iii)

Social distancing and sanitization at work places are being followed/done on regular day to day basis over the division. Awareness in this regard is being done amongst staff.

(iv)

Activities related to COVID-19 have been uploaded in Railway Board e-drishti portal on daily basis.
