A brief function of various areas under Machinery and Plants department are as under:
a) Related to M&P Maintenance & Safety
- Upkeepment of Non-CNC / Conventional machines, Material Handling Equipment’s in coordination with electrical maintenance department.
- Comprehensive AMC work of high end software based machines through outside agencies (No CAMC LOA issued in OCT ' 2022)
- Processing for procurement of new M&P’s under Plan Head 41, commissioning of COFMOW items (02 nos of M&Ps has been commissioned in Oct ' 2022)
- Upkeepment of Safety equipment like Fire extinguishers etc.
b) Related to Condemnation of M&P:
c) Related to Certification:
- This includes certification work from the State Pollution Control Board like “Consent to operate”, and “Authorization for handling of Hazardous waste “ in coordination with other departments.
