IN OBSERVANCE OF VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK

A SKIT PERFORMED AT HOWRAH STATION(NEW COMPLEX)

Kolkata, 28th Oct. 2015 :

The Vigilance Awareness Week is being observed all over the jurisdiction ofSouth Eastern Railway including Headquarters Office, Garden Reach from 26th to 31st October, 2015. During this Vigilance Awareness Week, various events are being organized o­n “Anti Corruption” theme by the Field Units of this Railway.

As a part of observance of Vigilance Awareness Campaign, with a special focus o­n sensitizing the youth, a Skit (in the form of a street play) spreading vigilance awareness and the evils of corruption like job racketing etc. was performed at Howrah Station (New Complex) today (28.10.15) in presence of Shri. Sanjay Singh Gehlot, Sr.Deputy General Manager & Chief Vigilance Officer, South Eastern Railway and other senior officers.Passengers in large numbers and Railway staff witnessed the short play staged by South Eastern Railway Bharat Scouts and Guides.The objective of performing this kind of skit is to create awareness about corruption and vigilance consciousness amongst railway persons and rail users.

A skit was also staged in front of New Administrative Building at S.E.Railway Headquarters, Garden Reach where the employees of SER assembled in large numbers to witness the skit.
