SER OBSERVES VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK

Kolkata, October 26, 2015:

 Shri Radhey Shyam, General Manager, South Eastern Railway administered pledge to all officers and staff of South Eastern Railway Headquarters, Garden Reach, this morning (26.10.2015) at 11 a.m. to commence the Observance of Vigilance Awareness Week from 26th October to 31st October, 2015.South Eastern Railway Officials took pledge to strive to bring about integrity and transparency in all spheres of activities and remain vigilant to work towards the growth and reputation of the organization by eradicating corruption from all spheres of life.All railway men also took pledge to do their duty conscientiously and act without fear or favour.

The reason behind this observance of Vigilance Awareness Week is not o­nly to build awareness amongst the railway employees but also the rail users to curb corruption.

Shri D.Kamilla, Additional General Manager, South Eastern Railway, Shri S.S Gehlot, Sr.Deputy General Manager and Chief Vigilance Officer, other principal Head of the Departments were also present at the Oath taking ceremony.

As a part of observance, Vigilance Awareness Campaign is also being organized at different divisional offices and centres of customer interface like Booking Offices, Goods Sheds, Workshops, Training Institutes and major stations of South Eastern Railway.
